As you see in the year 1974 - 1977 huge no. of pandas about 2500 pandas were there, but mainly due to poaching and other hunting activities, the population of pandas reduced to 1000 in the year 1985 - 1986
In order to improve the population of Pandas, In 1979, WWF signs a unique agreement with China to cooperate on conservation, including helping to save the giant panda.
With continuous effort done by these type of organizations the population growth of pandas are gradually increasing.
